- although with a huge support from his fans, Petar reaches the 3rd place on "Dora 2001." with the song "Ni mrvu srice"("Not a grain of happiness").

- on the 5th March (one day after "Dora 2001.") the song "Ni mrvu srice" becomes the hit of the day of the radio "Radio Dalmatia" from Split.

- video-spot for the song "Ni mrvu srice" is released.

- in the final evening ("Superfinale") of the "Melodije hrvatskog Jadrana 2001." music festival with the song "Najteza ric"("The hardest word") Petar gets the "Bronze seagull" (3rd prize) by the votes of the audience, and the "Silver seagull" (2nd prize) on the 2nd evening ("Melodije Jadrana"), also by votes of the audience; Petar's second song on this festival, "Odavno, zauvijek"("For a long time, forever"), performed by Danijela on the 1st evening ("Zabavne Melodije"), gets the "Bronze seagull" (3rd prize) by the votes of the audience; on the special, 4th, evening called "40 songs for 40 years of Zdenko Runjic", named in honour to the 40 years of music composing of this festival's director, Petar performs Runjic's old song "Vrbe"("Willows"), and with other performers of this evening he performs another two successful songs written by Zdenko Runjic, "Splite moj" and "Vjeruj u ljubav"("Believe in love").
